June 6, 2007 : Monarch on Painted Daisy

The Monarch butterflies have been around, drawn to the Dwarf Korean Lilac out front of the Bare Root Building and to this Painted Daisy.

The gardens planting is going well, with several major beds finished. Dad seems to be leaving it mostly to me this year. I hope my creativity holds out. It seems to be a lemon that gets squeezed to its last drop by the time the last bed is planted. That's when I resort to planting marigolds.
