April 27, 2007 : Instilled with Squill

A sure sign of spring are the pretty blue flowers of grandma's squill. They grow right out in the lawn under our Siberian Arborvitae. This patch has escaped to the hosta glade. Their leaves melt away by the time we start mowing, not to be seen until spring.
