August 6, 2009 : 2009 Open House!

The gardens are looking great and we're looking forward to the open house this Saturday.

Here's the schedule:

9:00 am - Open.
10:00 am - Garden Tour
11:00 am - Music (Eric and Joe Bergeson)
1:00 pm - Garden Tour
2:00 pm - Music
3:00 pm - Garden Tour
4:00 pm - Music

There will be a non-profit group serving award-winning BBQ pork. La La Homemade Ice Cream will be dishing up delicious treats.

Local photographer Bruce Flaig will be exhibiting his pictures and will put on a slide show celebrating his photographic skills.

Above all, everyone can enjoy the company of fellow lovers of flowers, pork, ice cream, photography, and music.

DETOUR NOTES:

Highway 32 is closed from Highway 200 to Fertile.

From the North: Drive into Fertile, and turn left on Polk County 1. Drive four miles east and turn right onto a gravel road. Drive three miles south, then turn left. We have signs up for all of these turns.

From the South: Take Highway 200 east four miles to Hwy 34. Turn left and drive eleven miles north. Turn right and drive 3/4 mile east.
