March 25, 2009 : Iris Escapism

After a tantalizing thaw, it poured rain last night (March 24th) and then the temps plummeted. Today there are two or three inches of fresh snow and it is 23 degrees. Local cities such as Fargo and Crookston are fighting for their lives against flooding rivers.

So it's a nice time to look at some iris and think about spring. It will come.
