November 12, 2007 : Miscanthus and Nannyberry

Well, Eric took the camera to New York City for the weekend, but I really felt like it was time to update this website, so I used an old photo of Miscanthus purpurescens near a Nannyberry.

We finished digging in record time, about a week with a few odds and ends on either side. We had help from my friend from Chicago, Ocie, and from alumni Aaron Rongen.

Ken has been bagging peat, trying to get it done before the pile freezes.

We have one remaining greenhouse to put plastic on, but a few repairs are needed first.

Ocie has been working in the bare root building, which is cruel and unusual punishment on these beautiful days.

Our piano tuner is coming today! It will be nice to play on a tuned piano again.

Mom just walked in and reminded me of an order that I need to call in, so I can't sit around and play my guitar all day. I've been trying to get started on a new CD.
