September 3, 2007 : Rudbeckia

In some places annual Indian Summer Rudbeckia came up from seed this year, and we left them to form a nice patch.

Pictured is a different annual Rudbeckia...I think it's called Prairie Sun, surrounded by Blue Puffs Ageratum and an ornamental millet.

The gardens still look pretty good.

Dad is hauling peat from the peat swamp.

I am going to put on some coffee.
