August 31, 2007 : The Evening Sun

This time of the evening, when I see the sun shining through the flowers, I have to run for the camera. This blossom belongs to a Calitunia, a cross between a petunia and it's smaller flowered relative calibrachoa.

I've made a slideshow of gardens pictures set to music into a video and posted it on Youtube. My apologies to any of you who may have suffered through my previous Youtube videos that I have publicized here. I think you might enjoy this one if you like looking at flowers:

Enjoy! (copy and paste into browser address bar.)

If you're still on a dial-up connection, it's really time to get with the program and upgrade to DSL, if only so you can watch Youtube videos. I've watched videos on how to play flamenco guitars, make pop bottles explode using dry ice and water, create plasma explosions in your microwave, convert your diesel vehicle to run on used vegetable oil, and open padlocks without the combination. And those are only the vaguely useful videos!
